Unlike conventional web applications that process user queries on remote servers, all primary calculators on SkyMotion.tools (such as sunrise/sunset ephemerides, lunar illumination percentages, projectile trajectories, free fall calculations, and geometric ratios) execute strictly inside your local web browser using client-side JavaScript.

When you enter custom parameters (for example, custom geographic coordinates, speeds, or building drop heights), these numbers are processed locally by your device’s browser engine. We do not transmit, log, or store your personalized calculation inputs on our servers.

2. Local Storage and Cookies

We do not deploy intrusive tracking cookies. SkyMotion.tools uses standard browser localStorage solely for functional preferences:

  • skymotion-theme: Stores your visual theme preference (light, dark, or system) so that your selected color scheme persists seamlessly across page visits without visual flicker.

This stored item remains entirely within your local browser storage and is never transmitted to any third-party marketing network. You can clear your browser storage at any time through your browser settings.

3. Server Logs and Web Hosting

When you access any web page on SkyMotion.tools, our edge hosting infrastructure automatically logs standard technical requests (such as your IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL, HTTP status code, and timestamp). These logs are maintained exclusively for technical performance monitoring, DDoS mitigation, and ensuring network security. They are retained for standard diagnostic intervals and are never combined with personal identities.

4. Affiliate Links and Third-Party Services

SkyMotion.tools participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click an outbound book recommendation or hardware reference link tagged with our associate ID (skymotion20-20), you are redirected to Amazon’s website.
